Wifi help for seniors, from the front door to the back bedroom
Dropped video calls, frozen streaming, a tablet that works in the kitchen but not the bedroom. Those are wifi coverage problems, and they are fixable. We design and install wifi that covers the whole house, then prove it with real speed tests.
Why the wifi dies in half the house
Most homes run everything from the one box the internet company left by the TV. Wifi weakens with every wall it passes through, so rooms far from that box limp along or drop out entirely. The fix is putting signal where you actually use it, with a mesh system or wired access points placed properly.
What we do
- Mesh wifi systems, such as eero, sized and placed for your floor plan
- Ceiling and wall access points wired in for the strongest, most reliable signal
- Modem and router installation and cleanup, including replacing rental gear that underperforms
- New internet service installs and upgrades, coordinated with Spectrum, Frontier, or whoever serves your street
- Speed tests in every room before we call the job done
Set up simply, named sensibly
One network name, one password, written down and left where you can find it. No more guessing whether to join the network ending in 5G. Phones, tablets, printers, TVs, and cameras all get moved onto the new network before we leave, so nothing mysteriously stops working a week later.
Strong wifi also carries everything else we install. If you are considering cameras or a smart thermostat, sorting the wifi first is the right order, and we can do both in one visit. For homes that want the most reliable setup, hardwired cabling beats wifi for anything that sits still.
